In particular, the many existing interfaces to merchandise management and checkout systems enable the connection of stores and stationary stores from all industries. This overview lists the most important features of the platform.

Basic profile

Basic information

Participants can enter various informations about themselves and their company (e.g. name, address, phone no., fax no., email, opening hours).

Description of the store

Participants can describe their business in detail and thus also set SEO accents.

Google maps entry

Each basic profile gets a Google Maps map.

Images

Participants can use multiple images to present their profile (e.g. portraits, interior and exterior views, action images, etc.).

Presentation video

Participants can upload a personal video to their basic profile and introduce themselves to their customers.

Leaflets and brochures

All participants can upload brochures. The customer can browse these on the platform and download them if necessary.

List of brands

Each participant can list his brands on the store profile taking those into account for search queries by users.

Social Media

Participants can link their social media channels (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest) to their basic profile.

Link to own website

Each participant can directly link their own website on their basic profile.

Search function

All participants information are made available for platform-wide search. Customers can search for stores, brands or product categories, for example.

Permalink

Each basic profile gets a "talking" permalink to allow direct links to the profile page.

Different email addresses

Participants can store different email addresses for e.g. customer contact, accounting and technical support.

Onboarding

Participants can register themselves in the marketplace.

GTC as PDF in confirmation email

After the order confirmation of the provider, a confirmation email is sent to the customer. Here, the platform T&Cs and the cancellation policy as well as the merchant's T&Cs are sent as PDF attachments.

Individual GTC management

Suppliers can manage and upload their terms and conditions independently.

Packaging Register

According to the new packaging law (from July 2022), the following information is mandatory for suppliers: 1) registration number & 2) system operator of the packaging material register system used.

Click & Reserve

Suppliers can activate this service as a button on the product detail page. Customers can reserve a desired product by entering their name and e-mail address.

Marketplace

Detailed vendor information

Participants receive their own page on which their seller information (terms and conditions, etc.) and their imprint are displayed.

Warning limited number

The platform gives users a warning when there are only a few products left in stock.

Internal note field for orders

Dealers can add internal notes to their orders.

Personal note field

Consumers can attach a personal message to their order.

Order Splitting

The cross-merchant order is automatically divided into individual orders by merchant after payment. The different delivery types, coupons, vouchers, etc. are taken into account.

Accounting transactions

The system automatically settles the transactions with the traders and distributes the credits (credits minus fees).

Tip of the day

Admins can place a product prominently on the home page as a "Tip of the Day".

Service Type: Waste Electrical Equipment Take Back

Retailers can now offer their customers the service of taking back old electrical equipment when ordering new goods. In the product settings, the retailer can activate this service independently, optionally with or without fees.

Shopping list

Admins can create shopping lists and users can add all products to the shopping cart with two clicks (e.g. materials for the first day of school for a specific class).

Services for API-Products

Product data, which is imported via the API interface, can be supplemented with services, such as the new return service.

Extensive filter functions

As a platform operator, you can set (product) filters such as size, color, brand (incl. aliases).

Nutrition table

Participants can provide a nutrition table as additional information for food.

Product import

Merchants can import their products automatically (e.g. from the merchandise management system or online store).

Extended counter

Merchants can set pre-order times for products.

Automatic invoice tool

The system automatically sends the invoice to the customer by email on behalf of the merchant (optional).

Opening hours vs delivery times

Merchants can store delivery times that differ from the opening hours, during which the couriers can pick up the goods.

Service providers use the appointment tool to coordinate specific customer requests and can confirm, change or reject them via the system.

Additional information

Gastronomes can list numerous features on their profiles (e.g. organic, vegan, gluten-free, with playground, with beer garden, etc.).

Online check-in/ registration

With an online registration, participants have control over the number of visitors at their restaurant.

Weekly reminder

The platform sends a reminder once a week so that restaurateurs can update their menus.

Digital menu

Restaurateurs can upload their food and beverage menus as PDFs.

Contactless menu with QR code

Restaurants can completely digitize their food and beverage menus on Platoyo. This makes the offer more searchable and filterable for users (e.g. "show only vegan food").

QR code generator

Restaurateurs can have QR codes generated for each digital menu. Visitors on site can use them to open the menus contactlessly.

All job ads on the platform are additionally displayed on a central page.

Overview page

On a central overview page, users can search and filter all events on the platform according to various criteria.

Calendar of events of the providers

Suppliers can maintain their own calendar of events on their profile.

Event calendar at platform and dealer level

Dealers can maintain their own event calendar on their profile as well as across the platform. Tickets can be booked directly on both levels.

Online sale of event tickets

Customers can directly purchase tickets for a desired event via the event calendar on your platform.

Brands

Brand directory

The system lists all activated brands for the user on a central page according to the alphabet.

Brand presentation

Each activated brand automatically receives its own page with logo, mood image, background text and a list of all suppliers and products on the portal.

Brand filter

Users can filter the products by unlocked brands.

Brand-alias

Admins can store aliases with different spellings and misspellings for a brand in order to intercept incorrect entries by traders. The system then plays out the correct spelling.

White-listing

Tokens are explicitly released by the admins to intercept incorrect entries by the traders.

Store brands

The brands of the products listed online are automatically recognized and processed by the system. Retailers can additionally store brands that they only carry in their stores.

Participants can activate their own online store.

Logo

The company logo can be integrated into the automated Online-Shop.

Main menu

The main menu in the automated Online-Shop can be customized according to the operator's preferences.

Payment & Settlements

All payment transactions and billing of the automated Online-Shop are done through the platform on which he has been activated.

Individual Google evaluations

Automated Online-Shop holders have their own access to Google services such as Google Analytics, Google Ad Services, etc.

Product selection

Each automated Online-Shop displays only the product assortment of the respective participant.

Chain system

Overview page

Different stores can be combined into a chain in the platform. Each chain gets its own overview page with a list of stores & products.

Product grouping

The search function groups identical products from different stores and, if desired, displays all dealers who carry the product.

Enhanced availability display

Products that are available in several stores of a chain receive a corresponding notice and a list of the product-carrying stores, including Google Map.

Multi-Shop management

Depending on their rights, employees can edit all stores in the chain, process orders, call up invoices, etc. with one login.

Role & permission system

With the help of the fine-grained role system, different authorizations can be stored for employees. This includes order management, statistics, change of prices and availabilities, voucher management, etc.

Change history

The manual changes of data are logged by the system for a period of 60 days and displayed to the admin of a chain. This includes, for example, editing of store data, price of products, changes in accesses, etc.

Klarna: Blocking employees

The employees of the operators of a platform are not allowed to pay with Klarna payment methods due to Klarna policies. With the help of the new feature, Klarna payment methods are automatically disabled for users who want to order with mail addresses of the operator.
